Dr. Hiten Patel graduated from
Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine. During his IM residency
he completed the AHA ACLS instructor program at Bayfront
Medical Center and taught at SCH.
Dr.
Patel is admired not only for his leadership but as a compassionate and caring physician. Throughout his residency he has been a willing source of good clinical information for our medical students
and interns. He was unanimously selected by the faculty and his peers to
serve as the Chief Internal Medicine Resident during the 2005-2006 academic year.
Dr Patel has accepted a position
as a full time hospitalist at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Florida.
